Nestled in the farmlands of Middlebury, VT, Helen Porter has accommodations for 98 residents, is licensed by the state of Vermont and certified by Medicare and Medicaid. Helen Porter is a skilled and intermediate care residence which specializes in providing a home-like environment. We are newly renovated with high ceilings, a beautiful courtyard with a water fountain, flowers, gardening, and pergolas, and circadian lights sparkling all throughout the facility. The RN Nurse Manager is in charge of the Nursing Care of all residents on the units and the staff delegated by the Director of Nursing.

Experience :

Two or more years of nursing experience in Long Term Care. One year of administrative or supervisory experience. Advance preparation in Unit Management and principles of supervision desirable. Experience in the field as a professional nurse with supervising skills utilized. Knowledge of and interest in field of geriatrics essential.

Education:

Graduate from and accredited school of nursing (RN program). Current license with Vermont State Board of Nursing.
