Job Description
Role:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Medication Nurse Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and safety by following the Six Rights of Medication Administration. Document all activities promptly in MAR/TAR, monitor residents for symptoms, and report any refusals or adverse reactions. Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders, support care plan updates, and observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents. Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and adhere to compliance standards to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance.Qualifications & Skills:
Active LPN license in good standing, CPR and First Aid certification. Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills. Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred.Key Duties:
Providing safe, accurate medication administration, monitoring resident health, supporting care plans, and ensuring compliance to protect resident well-being.Benefits
