Opportunity:
The CCO-in-Training (CCIT) Program is a 12-week, full time paid executive training program designed to prepare outstanding leaders for an opportunity to lead and manage clinical services and teams in a home health and/or hospice setting. CCITs learn how to drive results, cultivate a strong team culture, and develop a deep understanding of the unique business model that powers Pennant's success. As a CCIT, you will gain hands-on practical experience in operations related to financial, clinical quality, compliance, business development and people leadership skills to equip you to take on a more strategic and elevated Director of Clinical Services (DCS) position.
Required Clinical Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where services are rendered. Must maintain all applicable licensure requirements at hire, and throughout the entire duration of employment. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in home health and/or hospice is required. Current nationally accredited CPR certification. Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a safe driving record. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the ethical and professional standards established by the applicable nursing licensure board.

Genuine desire to pursue a clinical leadership career and develop into a Director of Clinical Services (DCS) role. Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ownership in professional responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust, inspire others, and foster positive relationships. Learning agility and coachability, including the ability to seek, receive, and apply feedback for continuous improvement. Ability to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Alignment with Pennant's CAPLICO core values and commitment to a culture of local leadership, ownership, accountability, and growth.
Program Expectations:
Willingness and ability to relocate based on available opportunities and business needs upon successful completion of the program. Ability to travel throughout the program for training, shadowing experiences, and leadership development events. Commitment to fully engage in all program requirements, including classroom learning, operational training, mentoring, field experiences, and leadership development activities.
Compensation:
$90,000
  • 120,000 during the training program.
Salary may be renegotiated upon successful completion of the CCIT program and being extended an offer to join a Pennant affiliated agency as the Director of Clinical Services role. The DCS position also includes eligibility for incentives and merit-based bonuses.
