Job Description

Duties include nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.
You will:
Supervise, support, and assist weekend floor staff in the performance of their duties. Receive and admit new residents arriving on a weekend (somewhat rare) Communicate professionally with providers and family members. Ensure care is provided as indicated on resident treatment and service plans. Know and follow infection control and safety procedures. Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation. Evauluate health emergencies to determin mediatTrain staff and assist the director of nursing Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, resident treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans Know and follow infection control and safety procedures Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation. Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations. Keep Director of Nursing and Administrator apprised of situations in the building.
You Currently:
Possess a current registered nurse license in good standing Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare.

$44.00 - $50.00 per hour
