PM Charge Nurse

Position:

PM Charge Nurse Whispering Pines , a skilled nursing facility located in Ripon, WI, is seeking a dedicated PM Charge Nurse to join our team. The PM Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff during the evening shift and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. This role includes supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support nursing staff during the PM shift Provide direct patient care and respond to resident needs Administer medications and treatments as ordered Ensure accurate and timely documentation Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes appropriately Ensure compliance with infection control standards and facility policies Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment

Qualifications:

Current Wisconsin nursing license (RN or LPN required) Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience is a plus Strong clinical and leadership skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus
