Responsibilities Calculates, prepares, and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the provider's order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery. Performs inventory, completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area, and performs quality improvement activities.a Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology.
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent.PREFERRED
One (1) year of experience as an Infant Feeding Prep Tech.Completion of Ohio State University:
Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date. Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.Knowledge of medical terminology.
