Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration The Nutrition Assistant is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization's mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes. Essential Responsibilities Functions as a representative of the Nutrition Service Department on the nursing units while assisting patients with menu selection. Performs a variety of clerical duties to assist in the overall activities of the clinical section of the Food & Nutrition Services Department under the general direction of the Diet Technician/Dietitian. Qualifications Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with patients and hospital personnel. Ability to work within scheduled time constraints. Ability to perform basic math. Ability to read and write.
