Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy license required in Alaska TYPE C Certification required for school-based practice Preference given to candidates with AK teaching certification Previous experience in pediatric or school-based OT highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver approximately 1,000 minutes of student contact per week, focusing on assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring Utilize evidence-based practices to support students with a variety of diagnoses and functional needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ensure all documentation and reporting meet local and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment
