Desired Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in Alabama Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement effective individual and group interventions Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and adhering to confidentiality guidelinesKey Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify students therapy needs and strengths Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Deliver direct occupational therapy services, both individually and in small groups Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and progress updates Support the educational team in adapting classroom environments and materials as neededWhat Youll Gain:
