Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Overview:
Pediatric occupational therapist position working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, in outpatient and inpatient settings. With experience, opportunities may be available in specialty areas, including NICU. Seeking a team-player with excellent communication skills, strong evidence-based practice, caring attitude towards all patients and their families, and effective time management / organization skills.
Responsibilities:
Evaluations, re-evaluations and ongoing direct patient care with children from birth to 18 years Management of a highly diverse caseload Coordination of care with other providers
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of AOTA accredited educational program for Occupational Therapists required. License, Certification and/or
Registration:
Must have current Alabama license. Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period.
Experience:
Pediatric experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
