These assignments begin as soon as possible and continue through June 10, providing essential services across four schools. You'll support a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, facilitating growth and independence through direct interventions tailored to a range of student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active and current Occupational Therapist license/certification valid in Alabama (documentation required) Experience working as an OT in a school environment highly preferred Comfortable delivering services via individual, small group, and push-in models Strong understanding of IEP processes and tailoring service frequency according to student plans Excellent collaboration and communication skills Dedication to supporting students' functional and academic success

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Organize and conduct 30-minute sessions, following prescribed service frequencies (weekly, twice monthly, or monthly) Serve 50-60 students across four schools, traveling between locations as scheduled Employ a range of service delivery options, including one-on-one, small group, and push-in formats Maintain timely and accurate documentation and communicate progress with stakeholders Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to maximize student outcomes All positions are strictly on-site, and the schedule runs from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, aligning with the school day.
