Full-Time Occupational Therapist at
Siloam Springs Job Summary:
As a valued member of our rehabilitation team at Siloam Springs Health and Rehab, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. Located in beautiful Siloam Springs, Arkansas, our facility has been a haven of healing and serenity for the local community for many years. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services are designed to provide patients with the highest level of care and support, and we are proud of our preferred provider status with our hospital partners.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' strengths, limitations, and rehabilitation potential Provide expert therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses and conditions, including but not limited to neurological, orthopedic, and cardiac conditions Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and rehabilitation strategies Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program Minimum of 0 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a passion for learning and growth Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Arkansas Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
