Job Title:
Occupational Therapist Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated Occupational Therapist in Surprise, AZ with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for adolescents, communicating with other team members and maintaining accurate records.
Duties:
Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals. Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Document services, progress, and compliance requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student accommodations and supports. Support students' sensory, motor, and functional skills needed for success in the educational setting.
Job Requirements:
Current Arizona Occupational Therapist License Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Valid Driver's License College Diploma or Transcripts Bachelor's Degree in
Occupational Therapy Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy School-based Occupational Therapy experience Sensory Integration Certification Experience serving pediatric and school-age populations Experience with IEPs and multidisciplinary school teams
