Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity impacting students across a K-12 caseload for the 2026/2027 school year. This engaging, full-time role offers 35-40 hours per week serving approximately 40-45 students across two district locations. Become a key player in supporting students' success through creative interventions and collaborative teamwork in an onsite-only role near the Altaville, CA area.
Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
Active California Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred Skilled in working with diverse K-12 populations Strong knowledge of fine motor development and sensory processing strategies Experience developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Comfortable providing services without a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) Proficient communication and documentation skills Collaborative, flexible approach to working with multiple school teams
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat K-12 students with varying fine motor and sensory needs Create and implement individualized OT interventions targeting specific student goals Split caseload between two district locations, providing services onsite Deliver direct therapy as well as consultation for students requiring consult-only support Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions This is a dynamic opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive educational environment.
