9663197-94513 Job Description Step into an exciting, hands-on role as a school-based Occupational Therapist and bring your skills to a collaborative and supportive team near Brentwood, CA. Make a tangible difference working directly with PreK-12 students at 1-3 school sites, supporting their success during the full 2023-2027 academic years. This is an onsite support positionyour expertise will complement a dynamic group of 4 OTs and 2 COTAs, building on their foundation of excellence as most of the current OT team is virtual. Assignments may shift to best support student needs and maximize your strengths, ensuring no two days are the same.

Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and valid California licensure Experience or interest in supporting PreK-12 student populations in an educational setting Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with staff, parents, and students Flexible and adaptable to work at multiple sites as needed Passion for fostering student engagement and functional success in the school environment

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct therapy services, documenting progress and adjusting interventions as needed Educate teachers, parents, and school teams on strategies and supports for students Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for optimal student outcomes Coordinate closely with a dedicated OT team and supervise COTAs as assigned
