Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California Previous experience as a school-based OT or in pediatric therapy preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress reporting Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Excellent organizational, assessment, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations to identify strengths and areas needing support Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support in a school setting Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to school and professional standards Educate school staff and families on therapy techniques and strategies for enhancing student independence This contract offers an enriching chance to make a lasting difference in students academic journeys.
