Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required Active California Occupational Therapy license Previous experience working in school settings as an Occupational Therapist Comfortable working on-site in an educational environment Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt quickly and take initiative independently Open to full-time (5 days/week) or part-time schedules

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students based on IEP goals Assess and document student progress, maintaining accurate records Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and school staff to support academic and functional success Engage families in the therapy process, sharing strategies to promote skill development at home Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support students through therapeutic interventions that aid classroom participation and daily living skills
