The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating students to help them achieve their maximum potential in the school environment. This role involves working with a diverse student population, including pediatrics in the school system. Meeting with team members to review and update the student's current levels. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of the student's physical needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve student's ability to meet their academic goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student care. Educate students and their teacher, and families. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Assist in case management to coordinate care across various settings. Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy, particularly in pediatrics and early intervention. Requirements A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California. Familiarity with pediatric therapy practices is a plus, but training will be provided. Ability to work with individuals with disabilities and provide tailored interventions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
