Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in California Experience working with a school population is highly desirable Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse student needs Collaborative mindset and passion for working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide targeted OT assessments for students referred for services Develop and implement individualized intervention plans supporting students' academic and social success Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of meaningful educational goals Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and maintain accurate records Offer consultative services to staff and families regarding sensory, fine motor, and self-regulation strategies Perks of this
