School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) job in Hawthorne, CA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Hawthorne, CA Job Details Full-time $38 - $70 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Sunbelt is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across preschool and elementary school settings in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in schools, with preschool assessment experience strongly preferred.

California Occupational Therapy License Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students. Deliver direct occupational therapy services based on student needs and IEP goals. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals. Develop and maintain appropriate documentation, reports, and service records. Support students in developing the skills needed to participate successfully in the educational environment. Collaborate with the lead OT and school team to determine appropriate caseload and service needs. Caseload Caseloads will be discussed during the interview with the district's lead OT.
Typical assignments may include:
Preschool students plus two elementary school sites, or Two elementary school sites. Qualifications Active California Occupational Therapy (OT) License required. Previous school-based OT experience preferred. Experience conducting preschool assessments strongly preferred. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
