Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic school setting on a flexible contract basis. This engaging opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact with a minimal time commitment—just 1-2 hours per week—serving students who benefit from your guidance and support. Based near Burlingame and Hayward, CA, you'll use your skills to positively influence students' growth and development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in California Experience in school-based settings preferred, with a focus on supporting K-12 students Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective intervention plans Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' needs and provide targeted occupational therapy services in alignment with IEPs Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to each student's requirements Maintain clear documentation of student progress and treatment plans Consult regularly with educators and caregivers to ensure holistic support for students Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications when necessary Enjoy the benefit of supporting students' academic and developmental success on a schedule that fits your life.
