Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for skilled Occupational Therapy professionals passionate about making a difference in educational settings! This onsite contract role offers immediate engagement, supporting students with diverse needs through the remainder of the current school year. You'll be collaborating closely with staff and students, providing high-quality occupational therapy services. The assignment supports approximately 80 students and covers either two elementary campuses or broader supervision duties, depending on your credentials. Enjoy a predictable weekday schedule while enriching student lives.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid California Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required Experience working in a school-based environment, preferred Ability to effectively support children with a variety of developmental, learning, and physical needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with educators, families, and team members For OT roles: Supervisory experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to individual students and small groups across assigned campuses Participate in IEP meetings, contributing functional goals and recommendations Maintain timely and compliant documentation for all interventions Collaborate with fellow therapy staff, teachers, and school administrators to promote student success If credentialed as an OT, provide guidance and supervision to a supporting COTA at one campus Benefit from an organized caseload and the chance to grow your expertise in a supportive school environment.
