Qualifications & Experience:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist within California Previous experience providing OT services within a school setting, particularly at the elementary level Solid understanding of IEPs and the ability to document progress effectively Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and other related service providers Strong communication skills and adaptability to various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, supporting their participation in school activities Assess students abilities, needs, and progress, and develop appropriate treatment plans Work with classroom teachers and parents to implement strategies that promote student independence and access to the curriculum Maintain accurate records, contribute to IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with all district and state guidelines Engage positively and constructively within a multidisciplinary team environment This assignment offers classroom-based support in a welcoming school culture, with the chance to immerse yourself in a vibrant educational setting.
