It remains therapist owned and operated. Though our services, we aim to equip caregivers to raise a generation of happy, healthy children. For our employees, we aim to create a balanced and fulfilling work environment. Bright & Early believes: Parents are their children's first teachers and they are the experts on their own children. A therapist's job is to provide additional information or insights that usefully supplement what parents already know about their child. Children and adults learn best through daily life interactions and situations.

San Diego, CA Population:
Children from birth to five years old Service setting: Home- and community-based therapy (primarily); Telehealth (occasionally) Key Responsibilities Travel to homes/community locations Schedule and coordinate with families to provide consistent therapy appointments. Evaluate and provide occupational therapy intervention to children with developmental delays or disabilities. Develop and implement treatment plans, including family-focused goals and anticipated strategies. Complete timely documentation of services. Collaborate with the team regarding current cases.
Qualifications Required:
Current California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/ Spanish) Experience working with infants and toddlers (0-3) Knowledge of Part
C / IFSP

Strong clinical reasoning skills Knowledge of family-centered and neuro-affirming approaches Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good time management and organization skills Cultural sensitivity and adaptability Comfort working independently in home/community settings
