Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential occupational therapy services in a vibrant educational setting near Live Oak, CA. As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you'll play a key role in fostering student independence, improving motor skills, and collaborating with supportive educational teams. This contract role is well-suited for professionals who value collaboration and thrive in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy Active Occupational Therapy license in the state Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to design and implement individual and group therapy sessions
Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities and create individualized therapy plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student success Deliver direct and consultative OT services, adjusting interventions as needed Document progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with school protocols Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to student goal planning Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications Enjoy a comprehensive package with weekly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and credentialing reimbursements.
