We are currently seeking a Part-Time Licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Position Summary The Occupational Therapist will conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide individualized therapy to support children in developing the skills needed to participate meaningfully in their daily lives. Treatment is tailored to each child's individual strengths, needs, interests, and developmental goals. Areas of evaluation and treatment may include: Fine motor and visual-motor development Motor planning and coordination Sensory processing and regulation Social-emotional development and self-regulation Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Play and participation Feeding and mealtime skills Developmental skills impacting participation at home, school, and in the community Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations. Develop individualized, functional treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, and family priorities. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support motor development, sensory processing, regulation, self-care, play, feeding, and participation in daily activities. Support children with sensory processing differences and developmental needs using a neuro-affirming, child-centered approach . Collaborate with OTs, COTAs, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), families, and other professionals to provide coordinated, interdisciplinary care. Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans and goals as clinically appropriate. Complete timely and accurate evaluations, progress reports, daily documentation, and other required clinical records. Educate and empower families by providing practical strategies, home programs, and resources that support carryover outside of therapy. Maintain a safe, engaging, welcoming, and inclusive therapy environment. Adhere to professional standards of practice, ethical guidelines, clinic policies, and applicable federal and California regulations. Qualifications Current California Occupational Therapist license in good standing. Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred. Experience working with children with a variety of developmental, motor, sensory, self-regulation, and functional needs preferred. Knowledge of sensory processing, child development, and neuro-affirming practices. Feeding experience is a plus. Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to family-centered, strengths-based care.
