Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current and valid Occupational Therapist license Experience or strong interest in working in a school-based environment Familiarity with IEP processes and goal-setting for students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student abilities and needs

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to determine students' functional levels Develop, implement, and document individualized intervention plans Serve as a resource for staff and families on occupational therapy strategies and student progress Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with school and professional standards Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as needed Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small groups This position offers the flexibility and variety of a contract role within a supportive school setting near the beautiful Marina, CA area.
