As an OT in an educational setting, you'll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest potential in academics and daily life. Your expertise in pediatric and school therapy will be valued as you develop supportive strategies and interventions tailored to each student.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Current, active OT license for the state of California Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Passion for fostering student development and independence
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP/504 requirements Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress Engage in collaborative problem-solving with other clinicians, teachers, and families Support access to curriculum and classroom participation through adaptive equipment and environmental modifications Participate in IEP meetings and provide training for educational staff when needed
