Job Description

Become an essential support for young learners by bringing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic educational setting near Moss Landing, CA. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of elementary and PreK students, all within a welcoming school environment. With a focus on one site, you will have the unique ability to build strong, sustained relationships with both students and staff, supporting developmental growth and enhancing educational outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

California Occupational Therapist licensure (required) Experience in school-based OT, specifically with elementary and PreK populations Strong understanding of pediatric OT practices and sensory integration techniques Able to design and implement individualized plans based on students' needs Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals No COTA supervision required for this role

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver OT services to students on an IEP, aged PreK through elementary Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement interventions Educate and consult with teachers and families for effective classroom strategies Monitor student progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
