Job Description

Make a meaningful impact across a variety of educational settings, working with students from Pre-K through middle school. This dynamic role focuses on fostering fine and gross motor skills, supporting early childhood development, and creating individualized strategies for student success.
Qualifications & Experience Preferred:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development Experience working with children in Pre-K, elementary (Grades K-5), or middle school levels Familiarity with early intervention strategies and IEP participation Effective communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct assessments to determine students motor, sensory, and daily functional needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students from early childhood through middle school Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students goals Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies to promote student achievement Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations Educate staff and families on techniques that support motor development in classroom and home environments
