Job Description

Make a positive impact working with elementary students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a contract, school-based setting. This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) focuses on supporting young learners as they develop crucial motor, sensory, and self-help skills, allowing them to thrive academically and socially. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to design and implement effective therapy plans tailored to each child's needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current, valid Occupational Therapy license Experience with elementary-aged students preferred Familiarity with educational settings and IEP processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized interventions Organizational skills to manage a caseload effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for elementary students Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies in the classroom Provide direct occupational therapy services to students Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular progress reports Educate staff and families about strategies to support student development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where each day brings new opportunities to positively influence children's lives.
