About the role

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control and combat platforms in the world for the Australian Defence Force.

We are seeking a Warehouse Store Person to join the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program based at the Army Aviation Centre, Oakey QLD. In this role, you will work as part of a small, dedicated team supporting the warehousing of aeronautical products and operational support for EC135 helicopters.

This position requires strong knowledge and experience across all aspects of warehousing and distribution in support of the Supply Chain Management team, including receipt, dispatch, storage, freight booking, material handling, and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Store Person within BDA, you will:

Manage inventory to ensure appropriate levels of accountability and traceability;

Raise inventory requisitions for the request of inventory spares;

Manage Goods Inwards;

Be responsible for Goods Receipt to ensure all items meet regulatory requirements;

Manage non-conforming products;

Be responsible for the segregation, documentation, and management of the Quarantine store;

Maintain accurate records of inventory in the Inventory Management System (IMS), including tracking inventory, maintaining quality documentation, and disposition of assets;

Be responsible for Shelf-Life management;

Deliver against the Programs strategic objectives; and

Deliver on commitments and plan to succeed.

Experience/Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, supply support roles and functions;

Demonstrated experience with inventory management systems and methodologies;

A satisfactory level of physical fitness, required to perform certain levels of manual tasking;

A Forklift Operators licence, preferred but not essential;

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications; and

Australian citizenship, to meet Defence security requirements, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.

Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and must be willing to undergo the standard government vetting process, including a full life background check. BDA will sponsor and support the required clearance process.
