This full-time contract opportunity specializes in therapy for children aged 3-5, working across multiple school sites near Oxnard, CA. You'll join forces with another skilled professional on-site to provide comprehensive care to a caseload of up to 50 enthusiastic learners. Start date is ASAP and the assignment runs through June 17, 2026, providing a strong and stable schedule to make a real impact this school year and beyond. Your expertise as an SLP will be highly valued, especially in implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate interventions for preschoolers. If you also have experience or interest in Occupational Therapy within a school-based setting, the district is eager to support your dual skills.
Key Qualifications:
Experience as an SLP in school settings, particularly with preschool populations Knowledge of age-appropriate treatment approaches for children ages 3-5 Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and compassionately Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations as needed Collaborative spirit to partner with fellow SLPs and school staff OT experience or credential is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy for students with speech-language or occupational therapy needs Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with families and staff Support students both 1:1 and in small group settings across different sites
