This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity in the San Jose area, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Youll play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and in daily living skills, working collaboratively with staff and families.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Active Occupational Therapist license in California Experience in school settings highly preferred Background in home health, teletherapy, or broader healthcare OT also valued Previous involvement with high school aged students beneficial Strong collaboration and communication abilities Organized and adaptable mindset for dynamic educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to a high school caseload onsite throughout the school year Assess students needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress in accordance with IEP requirements Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals Engage in IEP meetings, collaboratively setting and updating therapy objectives Contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team to create supportive, inclusive learning environments Maintain thorough, timely records and reports to meet compliance standards This contract role offers the chance to advance your skills in a school-based setting while creating real change in students lives.
