Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in California Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred Comfort with diverse caseloads, including high school-aged students Familiarity with teletherapy, home health, and healthcare OT services a plus Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills Ability to adapt interventions to support students unique needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment and therapy services to high school students according to IEPs and district guidelines Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure cohesive support and effective strategies for each student Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, goals, and progress reports Support students functional participation in academics, activities, and daily routines Document all services, evaluations, and outcomes promptly and thoroughly Attend IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful insights on student progress and adaptive recommendations This full-time opportunity averages 37.5 hours per week and extends throughout the entire 22/23 school year, giving you consistent work and the chance to develop strong connections with your students and colleagues.
