Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Passionate about making a difference in education? We're seeking two talented Occupational Therapists to deliver impactful services within a dynamic school setting for a full academic year. This rewarding contract opportunity is based mainly in the Oroville region, with occasional work in nearby Paradise. The role involves traveling between school sites, with all mileage reimbursed, ensuring your commitment is recognized and valued. You'll collaborate with other dedicated professionals to support students' developmental and educational goals. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with eligibility to practice in the state Previous experience in a school-based OT position strongly preferred Strong assessment and intervention skills with school-aged children and adolescents Comfortable working in-person and traveling between sites as needed Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Flexible and organized, with strong initiative and professional integrity
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct OT services in accordance with student IEPs and other educational needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to ensure coordinated care Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Schedule and travel efficiently between assigned school sites (with mileage reimbursement provided) Contribute to a supportive, positive, and inclusive learning environment
