1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Santa Rosa, CA. Details Skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting Rehabilitation therapy unit focused on occupational therapy services Geriatric and post-acute patient population 40 hours per week Requirements Current, active CA OT license (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of OT experience Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care setting preferred Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic modalities Additional Information Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting improvement in ADLs and functional independence Provide direct therapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, and cognitive training Educate patients and families on home safety, adaptive techniques, and equipment use Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, and speech therapists DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
