Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or enthusiasm for working with school-aged children (K12) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work across multiple school sites, supporting a variety of age groups and needs Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K12 students Assess student abilities and create effective treatment plans Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students learning and participation Provide support and interventions that promote students independence, fine motor skills, self-regulation, and access to the curriculum Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Travel between assigned school locations to ensure comprehensive support Gain the satisfaction of helping students develop critical life skills while broadening your professional experience across multiple educational environments.
