Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for California Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred, though not required Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs Creative problem-solving skills and a positive, encouraging demeanor

Core Responsibilities:

Assess students functional abilities and sensory-motor skills within the school environment Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to support students participation in academic and daily activities Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state requirements Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting Educate staff and caregivers on relevant strategies and accommodations Stay current with best practices and continuing education opportunities in school-based occupational therapy Imagine inspiring students and shaping their school experience while working alongside dedicated professionals.
