• Early Intervention Sunny Blossom Therapy | San Diego, CA Sunny Blossom Therapy is looking for a compassionate and playful Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide Early Intervention services to young children and their families throughout the San Diego area.

This is a flexible opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and families and wants the independence of community-based work while still having ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support. You'll receive hands-on coaching, mentorship, and practical training directly from the owner , with support available as you grow your skills and confidence. This can be an especially great opportunity for an OT or COTA who wants to develop their pediatric and Early Intervention skills in a supportive environment. You can select clients that work best for your schedule and preferred service areas. Services are provided throughout the San Diego area , depending on current referrals and therapist availability.

Compensation OTR/L:

$80/hour

COTA:

$55/hour Mileage reimbursement provided Benefits & Support Coaching and mentorship provided Therapy toys and materials provided as needed Flexible scheduling Choose your own caseload based on your availability Support with treatment ideas, sensory strategies, parent coaching, and Early Intervention approaches Opportunity to gain Early Intervention and pediatric experience Potential for additional private-pay pediatric clients as opportunities become available Responsibilities Provide developmentally appropriate, play-based occupational therapy services to young children in their natural environments, including homes and community settings. Services may include sensory-motor development, fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation, play skills, feeding, developmental skills, and caregiver education. Collaborate with families and caregivers, provide parent coaching and home strategies, complete required documentation, and communicate regarding each child's progress and needs. Qualifications Current California OT or COTA license Pediatric experience preferred Early Intervention experience is a plus, but not required — coaching and mentorship are provided Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to families within the San Diego area Warm, dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently with families About Sunny Blossom Therapy Sunny Blossom Therapy is a San Diego pediatric occupational therapy practice providing individualized, play-based services in children's homes, schools, preschools, and community environments.
