Job Description

Make a real difference supporting young learners as a school-based occupational therapist in a dynamic, contract-based role. Collaborate with a welcoming multidisciplinary team to help students from Pre-K to middle school reach their fullest potential through targeted interventions. This opportunity is perfectly suited for professionals passionate about pediatric therapy, eager to foster developmental milestones in fine and gross motor skills, and committed to enriching the educational experience for children across grades K-5 and beyond.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California Previous experience with early childhood, elementary, and/or middle school populations Expertise in evaluating and addressing fine and gross motor skill development In-depth understanding of pediatric therapy within educational settings Strong documentation and communication abilities Comfort working both independently and as a collaborative team member Experience contouring therapy to IEP goals and state education mandates
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring OT support Deliver direct therapy focused on fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living tasks Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other providers to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and professional recommendations Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and legal requirements Contribute to professional growth by sharing expertise with staff and parents
