1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient acute care hospital setting, requiring 1+ year of acute care experience and Epic proficiency. Details Inpatient Occupational Therapy unit within an acute care hospital 162-bed facility featuring a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county-designated trauma center 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, scheduled 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Weekend rotation required Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), or foreign equivalent Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required Occupational Therapy license required in state of practice, if applicable Current BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Plan and conduct treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care Complete evaluations and establish individualized treatment and discharge plans Provide therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques Ensure comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines Supervise assigned assistants Limited RTO available, with no more than one or two long weekend requests approved and no RTO over holidays Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as traveler positions Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical and religious exemptions considered
