Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a skilled Occupational Therapist supporting students across two schools in the San Marcos, CA area. This full-time contract position spans a maternity leave coverage from mid-August through mid-December, allowing you to make a purposeful impact within a dynamic K-12 environment. Here, your expertise will empower students to thrive, participating in their academic and personal development alongside a dedicated support team. What we're seeking: Active California Occupational Therapy licensure (required) Experience in school-based OT, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings preferred Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with educators, families, and staff Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse K-12 caseload Passion for fostering student independence and participation in school routines Duties and daily responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in a K-12 setting Deliver onsite therapy services to help students achieve their functional and academic goals Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to a range of needs and ages Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and implement accommodations Maintain accurate documentation meeting legal, ethical, and professional standards Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to interdisciplinary teams Enjoy a rewarding experience with competitive weekly pay, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance and a 401k retirement plan.
