Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in California as stipulated by the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act Minimum of two years clinical experience in pediatric therapy, with a strong background in developmental disabilities Demonstrated experience working in an educational environment, preferably within schools Effective collaboration skills with educational teams and families Commitment to onsite work (this role does not offer remote or hybrid options)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions tailored to student needs Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in partnership with educators and family members Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state standards Participate actively in team meetings, contributing clinical insights for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide consultative support and resources to teachers and staff to foster inclusive classroom practices This full-time, onsite contract runs through June, offering the satisfaction of seeing meaningful progress within a supportive, student-centered environment.
