Provides occupational therapy services for patients under the direction and supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, and or Clinical Supervisor or designee.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assumes the responsibility as outlined in the Occupational Therapists job summary and responsibilities. Provides department in-service as requested by management (e.g., journal club presentation, and or regular in-service presentation). Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management. Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed. Provides consultation to staff. May act as a mentor for staff. May provide input into the clinical competency of staff. Identifies process Improvement opportunities. May assist in the development and implementation of new clinical practice models for the delivery of care. Participates in performance improvement projects or other committees as requested by management. May be involved in the clinical competency of COTAs and Rehab Aides. May monitor the work of contract therapists and the treatment of patients in Kaiser and non-Kaiser facilities. Performs other duties as required within scope of practice.

Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience as an occupational therapist required. Education Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree with certification in occupational therapy or foreign trained equivalent License, Certification, Registration Occupational Therapist License (California) required at hire Basic Life Support National Provider Identifier required at hire
