Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to contribute to student success through targeted therapy services across 1-2 school locations in Valencia, CA, while enjoying a flexible schedule of two days (16 hours) per week. The position emphasizes both in-person and teletherapy modalities, guaranteeing paid administrative and team collaboration time.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and needs assessments for students. Develop and execute individualized treatment programs in close alignment with students' IEPs. Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain clear, accurate student records and progress notes in compliance with school policies. Provide direct therapy intervention while also consulting with staff on classroom modifications and strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of California. Experience in school-based, pediatric, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings. Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration and documentation. Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting prior to employment. Previous experience with school systems or diverse student populations is a plus.
