Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document interventions and maintain compliance with educational and clinical standards Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise in goal-setting and accommodations Offer guidance and strategies to enhance students functional independence in the classroom Working as a school-based OT on a contract basis offers a unique blend of focused professional impact and schedule flexibility.
