Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for California Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT - mMa) Experience providing OT services in a school environment Familiarity with IEP processes and documenting student progress Strong communication skills for working with educators, students, and families Ability to adapt sessions to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students to identify their needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support students functional independence within the school setting Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, intervention sessions, and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal-setting and student support plans Provide consultative services and staff training as needed Enjoy the flexibility and professional growth that comes from working in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
