Job Description

An excellent opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a school-based setting near Sunnyvale, CA. This contract position runs through the end of the school year and is ideal for someone passionate about pediatric therapy and developmental disabilities. Start your assignment as soon as possible and work full-time hours at two vibrant school sites. You'll play a pivotal role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and promoting independence. Qualifications:
Valid California Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility per the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act Minimum of two years clinical experience in pediatric therapy, specifically with developmental disabilities Prior experience in a school environment or working with educational teams preferred Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with school staff and families Ability to provide in-person, onsite services (virtual and hybrid work not permitted)
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services and consultations to students per their IEPs Develop therapy goals and plans tailored to student needs, with ongoing documentation Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families Assess and recommend strategies or adaptive equipment to support classroom participation Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance guidelines This assignment offers the chance to truly impact students lives, with full-time weekday hours and a supportive atmosphere.
