Our office is open Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, and closed Fridays. What you'll do: As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Little Sprouts, you'll provide occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental and functional needs.
Our caseload includes children with:
Autism spectrum disorders Sensory processing differences Fine motor delays Attention and regulation difficulties Activities of daily living (ADL) deficits Feeding difficulties Developmental delays And other pediatric diagnoses You'll also have the opportunity to work with typically developing children who need support developing their occupational skills. You'll evaluate, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled occupational therapy, document progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with other members of our therapy team. Pediatric feeding experience is highly preferred. Training and mentorship are available for the right candidate. Experience with early intervention is strongly preferred. What we're looking for: An Occupational Therapist who: Has a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Holds a current California Occupational Therapist license Holds current NBCOT certification Has experience with pediatric feeding Has experience working with children and families Communicates professionally and works well as part of a team Demonstrates good judgment and strong clinical decision-making Is comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems Maintains patient confidentiality and professionalism Can meet the physical demands of pediatric therapy, including frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and twisting and lifting up to 40 pounds New graduates are welcome to apply if they have a strong interest in pediatric therapy and meet the licensing requirements.
